I am now exactly two weeks post-op. I spent one week in hospital where I "almost bought the farm" because of a morphine allergy on the day of surgery. But after 24 hrs. in ICU I recovered and began my "recovery". I am home now...doing well, I think. I am 75 yrs. old and my wife is 54. She is incredible in helping me focus all my efforts on recovery. I am discouraged at times and still in pain. Does it get better?
