I am 43 years old and was in pretty good health other then pain in the hip joint for about 9 months straight. Then I was diagnosed with hip dysplysiea (sp) and had to have my right hip replaced in April 1999. At first (after the pain of the incision wore off) I was pain free!!! Then I went back to work full time and full speed ahead. Now, I walk with a painful limp and the muscle in the right thigh seems to have severly weakened. I am back in phyiscal theraphy and very unhappy. My leg is 1/4 longer and causing back pains to boot! Any one out there having something similar? I am so frustrated and nowhere to turn. Any advise is appreciated. Please email me: Sheree0325@yahoo.com.
