Hi Liz, Just wondering, are you scheduled for a THR yet? And where are you from? There are different kinds of prostethis that the DR.'s use. Try reading the message board here at totally hip. You may find some answers there. I've been reading and participating on the message board for a couple of months and have found comfort here. My desicions are becoming a little eaisier just from getting some input from fellow ":hippies" or "hippies to be" I am scheduled for a THR in July 2000 and I'm feeling more comfortable about it.
