Martin, I had my first THR at age 37, 3 years ago. I was so afraid of the surgery I put it off too long and got to the point that all I could do was sit around and hurt. This time, I'm not letting myself get that far down before having the other one done. My surgery is scheduled in about 10 days. I'm looking forward to being pain free. Good luck to you!
