Sherry, I conducted alot of research over the last year on hip replacement technology. My overriding concern was longevity of the replacement. After discussing Dr. Fetto's design for several other doctors, I decided to go with it. The biomechanics of the revelation hip is different from hip replacements today. The design centers around new studies on how are bodies distribute weight on the femur bone and resulting joints. This design is supposed to better distribute weight and cause less wear. Also, the clinical studies show that 90%+ of bone density remains after the stem is implanted. The technology is distributed by oncore products based in Austin.
