Age 57, occupation Mechanic, had THR left in april 1999, back at work second week of June. Limited as to stooping, lifting,squatting. Would not hesitate to do it again, and will have right hip done before the pain gets as bad as with left hip. I have a lift in my right shoe as the new hip makes my left 1/2 inch longer. I can really tell when the weather is going to change, at 9:30 tonight I really started hurting, by 11:00pm it was snowing. Good luck, Charles.
