I am a 36 year old female with Legg Perthes. It was diagnosed when I was six years old. I wore a brace on my left leg from ages 6-10. I was relatively active from age 10-25. My actively has been gradually diminishing over the years to where it is now...Every day is measured by "A o.k. hp day or a bad hip day". I am the mother of two sons (4 & 6)...and my only choice to get out of the Chronic Pain..I've tried everything else is a THR...Mine is scheduled for 2/21/00..Keep me in your thoughts...I'm excited and nervous at the same time...
