Hi Brenda! I am scheduled for THR in September 2000. I have many of the anxieties that you probably have. I am 41 and have had much difficulty for tha last 10 years with AVN/OA. I am afraid of the surgery and of the time after wards. But do beleive that our quality of life will be much better if not completely normal. They are using the metal-on-metal replacement on me. How bout you??? Will be thinking and praying for ya in July.
