hi my name is Carol and i am 28, as a child i had what was called congenital hip dislocation, and was in and out of surgery several times during my childhood, as an adult suffering with more pain working 40 hours a week standing on my feet really took a toll and my pain got worse, a friend of mine recommended a doctor that did a knee replacement on him , and reluctantly i went to see hi, i found out that my hip was like a hip of a 6 year old, it never grew for it to get stronger so the hip was out of place and trying to make its own socket up higher in my upper hip which made my leg 5 centimeters shorter then my other one, well i would like to tell everyone that on September 9th,1999 i had a total hip replacement and it was the best thing i have ever done.
