I started having severe pain in my right leg, had a very difficult time walking. Went to three drs. send me to have MRI of back. Had severe spinal stenosis of L5-Si and L4, L3. Went to neurologist and had a laminectomy in July of 99. Felt better for 2 months. Still had pain. Then my last appointment with the neurologist suggested I have an ortho look at my hip. Went to ortho took X-rays, CT Scan and had AVN stage 4 and suggested total hip replacement. Had THR in Jan. 2000 now, it is April and I had been so terribly careful, fell out of a chair at work, no pain got up thought I was fine, four days later while getting out of chair, hip dislocated. This is just about the most horrible pain I ever experienced. Now, I am back at home after having to have it re-inserted and wearing a hip brace for the next six weeks. Is this ever going to end? Are you always prone to problems? Am getting very disgusted!! Love to hear from anyone that has had similar experiences. Keep me in your prayers! B. Loyd
