I suffered for 13 weeks 0nly, yet knew something must be done. At 45, I didnot think i would have to have this done.especially since I have been a chiropractor for 21 years. I set forth and was not really afraid. I will tell you to become complacent with a lot of sitting and tedious recovery. Not much pain, yet learning to sleep gingerly and in a semi-fixed position, and not driving, hard working, or bending for 6-8 weeks. I did suffer some post-surgical depression, having to be waited on, using a walker, and ortho-potty somewhat humiliated me but only two weeks post-op and my staples are out I walk fast with my walker and keep myself around a lot of good people. If i can help, please e-mail gar
