Terri this is for you!!! Don't put it off until you are in a wheel chair like I was for 3 years. Today I was only using 1 crutch and this was my 4th week post op today. Just the first few days are bad but as soon as you get home and start the excercises you can get around real good after the first week. For a week of discomfort it is very worth it. THE PAIN IS ALL GONE!!!!!!!OH HAPPY DAYS!!!! Don't wait too long, look at all the time I suffered and had to stay in bed. Life is definately too short!!!
