I am a 16 year old girl with a hiip problem. I was having hip pains for about a month straight, and being that I have Sickel Cell Anemia, I thought I was just having constant pain crises, but I was wrong. I was diagnosed with Avacular Necrosis in August of 1999, and I recieved the surgery the end of September only it was not on the hip that was having pain it was on the right hip to prevent it from getting like the left hip. So now, about nine monthst after the surgery we are still waiting to see if the left hip is going to get worse, the doctors say it may just stay like it is not need a hip replacement, hopefully it will stay like it is, and if it does we will start working on the motion, because I have restricted movement. Well that is most of my story, and this is a great site, and please keep me in prayer.
