Felt so good after left THR, walked out of hospital without cane or walker. I kept on saying no pain, no cane. Therapist and Doctor warned me about possible dislocation. Thought I was listening and understood, but 3 week after THR, sat in a chair that was too low (and I KNEW it)turned to say something to my wife and felt the hip dislocate. WOW the PAIN was unbelievable. Now 6 weeks have passed since it was relocated and have worn a knee imobilizer to prevent a reoccurence. Yesterday, went to gym to do some non impact excercises but really concerned about doing something wrong. I DON't want the dislocation to happen again. Anyone who has had a similar experience and what precautions did you do after the six weeks and later? When do you think I will be able to resume NORMAL movement and activities if ever?
