Ian, I like that name, it's what we named our now 5yo son. I also have AVN in my right hip, just diagnosed last week. Some collapsing has taken place and I'm quite anxious of the surgery and especially of the anasthesia. I'd experienced considerable "paralysis while awakening from hernia surgery in 1990.
