I had my right hip decompressed back on MAY 26th. I was in Stage 3. I was on crutches for 6 weeks and a cane for 2 weeks. Though my hip area is still tight (I should stretch more than I do) My life is pretty much back to normal. It feels good to put my own socks on again. I do have to have the left hip done this fall. To me the anticipation of the surgery was far worse than the actual surgery was. It sure beats the pain I was in
