John,
My wife (31) just heard yesterday that she's probably going to need THR in the near future. Her hip's been getting painful over the last six months so she had been going to the physio with a suspected pulled tendon. She got xrays yesterday which showed the ball at the top of her femur hadn't formed properly, the doctor said it was due to a long existant cyst.
As a young person, what level of recovery can we expect she'll have? As I said this is all new and _very_ scary.
