I saw a documentary on the Discovery Channel regarding this proceedure,also done by a doctor at the Duke Institute,I must admit it looked promising. What I couldn't understand was, how does the cartilage in the socket part of the joint repair itself as this section does not undergo a graft. I had my right hip replaced in 1994 and the left one don 2 years ago, at this stage everything is going great.
