I found this site by accident but have learned a lot from it. I am 33 and found out 1 yr. ago that I have AVN. It was caused from steroids years ago to treat a bad case of eczema. I found out this summer that I will need to have both hips replaced eventually. My pain is constant in my right hip with everything I do. You people seem to be the only ones that understand what kind of pain this really is. My doctor(this is my second) says that Im too young for THR. I would appreciate anyones input on the age thing. I have read many of your stories and thank everyone for the positive things at a time when I seem to be confused and honestly scared to death of this.
