Eve, Congratulations for doing so great recuperating from THR. I am almost 6 months post op right THR. After checking with our Dr. if all fails perhap your back could be out of place. I also experience back pain and a numb-like feeling and slight pain around the operated area. I finally went to my chiropractor and after a few adjustemnts I feel great again. I am careful not to overlift since these muscles are weak from favoring this side before surgery due to pain and discomfort. BE sure your chiropractor is aware you had THR he will adjust you accordingly. You can also try ice to the back area and then moist heat not for more then 20 minutes several times a day. let us know. I would be interested in knowing what your capabilities are at this point. I am a 48 yr old female having some problems w/depression but otherwise also doing good. What form of excerise to you do and how far are you walking???? take care...
