I had a complete right hip replacement on 9 Aug 2000. After 4 months instead of getting better, I got worse. I was informed by my surgeon of 15 Dec 2000, that the implant used on me was being recalled by the manufacturer. This was due to a residue left on implant that should have been removed. This has caused the metal cup not to grow into the bone but to seperate. I thought this would be of interest to many of you. I would like to hear from anyone with a similar experience. I would be eager to share with you additional info that I have.
