As I said before, I'm scheduled for my THR on 29th of this month. It didn't really hit me until I called my insurance company to get precertified for my hospital stay. Got my confirmation number right here! I told my sons (aged 2 and 7) that Mommy will be getting a new hip. My 7 year old said to the little one, "Mom won't have to walk funny anymore!" It's funny when I carry my 2 year old, I have a distinct sway caused by the limp. He usually swings back and forth with it as if it were a carnival ride. It's really pretty funny to see. Anyway, I'm nervous and excited. I hope that it will be a success. I still have many questions that will probably only be answered in time after the surgery. Each of your surgeries here have been unique. Some have been good, some not so good. At least I've seen a full spectrum and their will be no surprises. Thank you everyone.
