I am 32 and had a periacetabular osteotomy on my left hip 5 1/2 years ago. It was a total miracle in my left. Took away the pain and gave me back a normal life. I am going in for one on my right hip in 2 months. There are just a few surgeons in the US that do the surgery. Mine is at Children's Hospital in Boston. Keep researching, it's worth it.
