I was wondering about therapy or what is normal after a hip accident? I broke my femur bone at the socket it was re-attached with 3 screws, i also fractured my patella at the knee, i was off the leg for 6 weeks, then that was boosted to 11 weeks, i have been on crutches now for 2 weeks, for another 4 weeks, is that normal? At this time my hip and leg could not support me I dont think, after being off it to so long. I was wondering what the average length people were on crutches etc. Also my leg has compressed 1/2" so that has me worried too about back problems down the line.
