Hi! I have a post already, explaining my background and the fact that I had an entire prosthesis removed after ten years, due to a staph infection. I'm currently off IV antibiotics, and must be on oral antibiotics for 6 months before my actual replacement. Right now I have a temporary spacer and my mobility is very limited. I'd love to chat with anyone who has had an infection and knows how this incredibly long recovery period feels. I'm getting pretty sick of the whole thing, and have 4-5 months to go before my new replacement.
