My mom had right hip replacement today (uncemented). She's 56, has high blood pressure and is overweight. I am extremely concerned about her. I will be taking some time off work to stay with her when she goes home from the hospital next week. I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions of how to comfort her. I can't even begin to imagine the pain that people go through with this procedure.
