I am 54 years old and had a case of legg perthes when I was about 7 years old. My treatment was to keep off the leg(left) for about a year and the progress was monitored using x-rays. My concern today is the xrays. I had a full set taken once a month as I remember. I don't remember any shielding of my genitals. I have three children. One of them is experiencing reproductive problems. I am suspicious. Are any other folks in my age bracket wondering about their x-rays? Are there people out there who have had reproductive problems? How about in offspring?
