I had a THR of my right hip (uncemented) and from Day One, have never had anymore pain in the groin, like I did before surgery. I had the surgery on March 1, 2000. However, I still have muscle pains, especially in the right leg, when I get up from a chair and I wondered if others experience this muscle pain and what I might do about it? Other than that, I am delighted that I had the surgery because I had been in extreme pain.
