My fiance dislocated his hip 6 years ago in a football accident. The only thing I can recommend is to go swimming to help build up the muscles around your hip, and to perform light stretches. By now you should be into that muscle building stage, but I would be careful about the positions you get into with yoga, because it seems that once you dislocate your hip it is easy to do again. My fiance is actually getting an x-ray today, and I decided to look up info on the topic and came across your article. My fiance has felt numb and cold in his hip for years, but has tried to endure the pain, because he feels that the sooner he gets hip replacement surgery, the sooner he has to get it again. I guess hip replacement has to be reintroduced after 10-15 yrs. Technology is changing though, and hopefully it will last longer! I hope you are not in too much pain, and pray that you and your family will get through your hip problems with little discomfort!

Take Care, Leslie
