Hi, I had no idea such a website existed. I think it is great to be able to read about other people going through the same thing, it not only encourages but allows me to help others. I am 21 and have never met or spoken to anyone my age who has been through a hip replacement. I would love to share my experience with my right THR and my left CD. It is sometimes depressing however to read some of the messages because some people seem to think that 33 is too young, how is that suposed to make even younger patients feel? I think no matter the age, if it improves your lifestyle and allows you to get on with your life and do the things you love, it is worth it. I waited 2 years on a collapsed hip and suffered the pain, I do not recommend waitting around in pain! Feel free to drop me a line and courage to all those facing tough decisions. Glynis
