G'day all. Well I never thought I would be posting a message to a site like this, but here I am after finally being told that I need a THR within 12 months due to osteo-arthritis. I have been reading heaps of messages on here all afternoon and I guess I am fairly lucky compared to a lot of you. I have lots of questions which will be answered by myself after I have the op, but in the meantime is there anyone involved in the building trade or motorcycling (touring) who could answer my questions ? I have been a carpenter all my life and still enjoy my job, so that's why I need to talk to similar, and the same goes for motorcycling, which is a big part of our lives. I am only 48 and still have a lot of living to do, and I sure as hell am not going to let a piece of ceramic completely stop me from doing the things I enjoy.
